Price increases...

Our nation’s economic crisis has been well documented by the news media.  Among other factors, the ripple effect of the record high oil prices is affecting all facets of our economy locally, nationally and internationally.  The rapid rise of raw material, energy and freight costs have translated into double digit price increases in almost every product we represent.

Our commitment to our customers is to completely satisfy them by providing the most innovative packaging services and solutions at any given time.  We strive to exceed our customers’ product, service and cost expectations.  During these difficult economic times in order to ensure long-term viability, we need to work closely with you to search for alternative products, more efficient designs and more cost effective packaging methods to offset the cost increases we are face.

In the coming weeks, you can expect price increases on all commodities.  Below are some examples:

1. Polybags, films and sheets
2. Stretchfilm
3. Polyethylene foam
4. Urethane foam
5. Paper and pressure sensitive tape.

In addition, the paper industry has been trying to push through an 11% price increase since April of this year.  We feel they may succeed in moving the price of paper in July or August.

As always, your account representative will work proactively with you to find ways of offsetting the impending price increases. Working together we can manage the difficult economic times that we are currently facing.
